Freedom is a Tokyo-based guitar workshop that enjoys overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan, and in recent years, its name has begun to resonate overseas.
Originally highly regarded for its repair work, the workshop now focuses on manufacturing, and its creations are loved by many musicians for their high quality and rational design sense.
All basses from this brand are manufactured in Tokyo.
Through strict quality control, the wood used is carefully selected, and any wood that does not meet the standards is not used in the products.
This level of quality control is possible precisely because it is a small workshop.
In that sense, the quality is fundamentally different from that of products made in large factories.
This model is a replica of a 5-string JB bass ordered by GIB.
The body is made of alder, and the fretboard is made of Indian rosewood.
The finish on both the body and neck is lacquer, allowing you to fully enjoy the aging process.
This model also features HIPSHOT Ultralite Lollipop tuners. The lightweight design not only reduces physical strain, but also tightens the sound slightly, resulting in a clearer bass definition and a more user-friendly feel.
The headstock is a matching head, painted in the same C.O. Burgundy Mist as the body.
It exudes a calm, deep atmosphere.
Original stainless steel frets are used.
These are the WARM type, retaining the advantages of stainless steel—not too hard, and without losing its shine.

On Personal Preference: Finding the perfect bass is a personal journey. If the instrument you receive isn't the right fit for your hands or your sound, you are welcome to return it. In this case, we will refund the full purchase price of the item; we simply ask that you cover the return shipping costs.

Buy-Back Validity Period: The buy-back at 70% for used items and 50% for new items is valid for six months from the date of purchase. After six months, items will be evaluated and purchased at our standard trade-in rates.
Buy-Back Shipping and Tax: For buy-back items, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and applicable taxes for returning the item to GIB.
