Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee (titles omitted).
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
This model is a cost-effective Jazz Bass from the Player series, made in Mexico.
The body is made of alder.
The fingerboard is made of Pau Ferro.
It has a warmth similar to rosewood, but provides a clearer, more responsive attack.
Furthermore, as this instrument was manufactured in 2021, the back of the headstock features a "75th Anniversary" logo celebrating Fender's 75th anniversary.
The pickups are Player Series Alnico 5 Single-Coil pickups, specially designed for this series. It delivers a punchy attack and a genuine Fender tone that leads the ensemble.
Perhaps influenced by its Mexican manufacturing environment, the sound has a distinctly different character from Japanese-made models, with a somewhat open and dynamic feel.
