Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including James Jamerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League. (Titles omitted)
The Precision Bass was the world's first fretted solid-body electric bass, and it instantly captivated bassists worldwide.
Its brilliance remains unchanged and it continues to be loved even more than half a century after its creation.
Fender Japan started in the 1980s as a Japanese-made Fender, but unfortunately, it has now been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.
However, the brand's quality is still supported by many artists and continues to be sought after.
The body is made of basswood, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
Basswood may not be the most popular wood, but its light, resonant tone seems to be particularly well-suited to the Precision Bass.
Its extremely light weight is also a major advantage.
The pickups are PB-Vintage.
This is an all-around Precision Bass that combines excellent playability, as expected from a Japanese-made instrument, with the open nuances characteristic of Fender.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show signs of use, with scattered dents and scratches. Some tarnishing is visible on the metal parts. There are traces of sticker burn on the back of the body.
The electronics are in good condition.
The jack has been replaced. Some of the set screws on the bridge saddles have been replaced.
