Limetone Audio is a Japanese effects pedal brand that enjoys the strong trust of many top professionals.
While they produce a wide range of high-quality effects pedals, their flagship product, the JACKAL distortion pedal, is particularly highly regarded.
This model is the JACKAL MIDNIGHT, a bass-oriented version of the JACKAL.
It features a thick, punchy drive sound, making it ideal for players seeking a heavy, resonant sound reminiscent of Billy Sheehan.
Unlike typical bass drive pedals that cut the midrange to create a flashy sound, it retains a dense sound with solid low-mids.
Even at high gain settings, the sound image doesn't easily become muddy, resulting in a finely detailed distortion.
The 3-band EQ is designed to complement the drive sound; the Bass control provides powerful lows, the Treble control enhances attack, and the Middle control offers a wide range of adjustments, from adding thickness to the sound image to shaping it for a clearer tone.
Furthermore, it features a Bright switch for adding natural presence, and a Preamp Mode for use as a preamp with reduced gain.
The low-gain sound with a slight compression is also pleasing, making it ideal as a constantly-on preamp.

Buy-Back Validity Period: The buy-back at 70% for used items and 50% for new items is valid for six months from the date of purchase. After six months, items will be evaluated and purchased at our standard trade-in rates.
Buy-Back Shipping and Tax: For buy-back items, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and applicable taxes for returning the item to GIB.
