Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including James Jamerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League.
The Precision Bass, the world's first fretted solid-body electric bass, instantly captivated bassists worldwide.
Its brilliance remains unchanged and beloved even more than half a century after its creation.
Fender Japan started in the 1980s as a Japanese-made Fender, but unfortunately, it has now been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.
However, the brand's quality is still supported by many artists and continues to be sought after.
This model is a PB62, faithfully reproducing the style of the 1962 PB.
The body is made of basswood, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
Basswood may not be the most popular wood, but its bright, resonant tone seems particularly well-suited to the PB.
Its lightweight design is also a major advantage.
This is a great bass guitar that combines excellent playability, typical of Japanese-made instruments, with the open nuances characteristic of Fender.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but it has been confirmed to move approximately 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some small dents and buckle scratches. The metal parts show some tarnishing.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
