Description & Condition
Mayones is a high-end brand that manufactures cutting-edge guitars and basses in Poland.
Its quality is well-established, as it is favored by top musicians such as Hadrien Feraud and Federico Malaman. (Titles omitted)
The Jabba is a model that takes the traditional Jazz Bass as its motif and develops it further.
This is the Hadrien Feraud signature model of the Jabba.
Born in Paris in 1984, Hadrien Feraud may still be considered a mid-career musician, but his presence is already legendary.
His solo album, released at the young age of 23, features musicians such as John McLaughlin and Biréli Lagrène. (Titles omitted)
He is truly a top player of the new generation.
This model comes in several specifications, but this one is an Aged Yellow finish with a JJ pickup configuration.
The body is constructed with a Maple top, Swamp Ash back, and Pau Ferro fingerboard.
The body shape and joint design provide excellent access to the high frets, resulting in ultra-smooth playability.
It features a DELANO JMVC5 pickup and an original Musashi Nitōryū preamp.
Controls are simple: master volume (push/pull - active/passive), balancer, treble, middle, and bass.
While offering a smooth playing feel, it delivers a robust, harmonically rich, and beautiful sound.
The preamp also functions as a headphone amplifier, allowing for direct headphone monitoring.
These modern features are another appealing aspect of the brand.
While 24-fret JB models can sometimes sound too tight, this model avoids that negative impression, producing a supple, harmonically rich, and beautiful sound.
A perfectly balanced, supreme modern bass.
