Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand with top-tier musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients. (Titles omitted)
This is a rare Sadowsky NYC brand instrument, which seems to have become increasingly difficult to find recently.
The neck end is signed ""okada #681 1-8-14-17,"" indicating that it was distributed by Okada International.
This model is a popular JB-type, the Vintage J Bass.
It was manufactured in 2014.
The body is made of the familiar chambered alder, and the fingerboard is made of Morado (Pau Ferro), a classic configuration.
The pickups are the brand's signature hum-canceling type.
They are noiseless yet retain a distinct trebly element, without losing the sharp JB-type sound.
The preamp is an original 2-band unit.
This combination of electronics is, needless to say, superb.
