This JJ series, with its slanted front pickup, has been a long-loved flagship model and a signature of Moon.

This particular model is from the JJ series and features an EMG pickup.

It appears to be a JJ-175, but since the wood specifications are not listed in the catalog, it may be a custom model or a made-to-order item.

The body appears to be Flame Tochigi.

The fretboard is Ebony, and the neck is Birdseye Maple.

The striking combination of flame detailing throughout the body and bird'seye finish on the neck creates an exotic and overwhelming presence.

The pickups are EMG.

This specification was also present in the lineup at the time, and is known for its low noise and clear characteristics, synonymous with active pickups.
