The Fur Coat is an analog octave fuzz pedal inspired by the legendary 1970s fuzz pedal, the Foxx Tone Machine.
Based on an extremely thick and sustained fuzz sound, it allows for the blending of upper octaves via an independent switch.
With EQ control adjustments, it's possible to adjust the texture in a variety of ways, from a clear, midrange-emphasized sound to a deeply scooped, scooped sound.
From heavy, rumbling stoner rock sounds to modern, wall-of-sounding fuzz, this pedal exudes an overwhelming presence.
While there are slight signs of use on the exterior, the overall condition is beautiful. It is in perfect working order.
