F-Bass is a leading Canadian bass brand.
The quality of their basses is exceptionally high, and they are favored by top-tier bassists such as Alain Caron, Étienne Mbappé, Hadrien Féraud, and Michael League. (Titles omitted)
This flagship BN series model is often described as having the ideal 70's JB sound.
The body is made of Swamp Ash.
It is colored in a vibrant Transparent Red that highlights the wood grain.
The neck is made of Maple, and the fingerboard is Macassar Ebony, which is available as an option.
The pickups and preamp are original.
It offers a natural and smooth playing feel, while also possessing a very open nuance.
The balance, which avoids becoming too dark despite the mass of a 5-string neck, feels unique to this brand.
A gem of a bass, with a refined balance and a beautiful, rich harmonic sound, almost as if it has been mastered.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some small dents of about 1.0mm on the back of the body. The overall appearance is somewhat cloudy. There is some slight tarnishing on the metal parts.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
