Dragonfly is a Japanese guitar and bass brand with a long history.
They manufacture high-quality products using knowledge and technology cultivated in collaboration with musicians.
Many musicians use their basses; for example, Tetsuya Teyan of Fear.and Loathing in Las Vegas has been using their basses for many years.
Dragonfly offers several models, but this model, the CHB5, features a double-cutaway body design.
JB bass enthusiasts will likely find it appealing.
The body top is Bubinga, and the back is Mahogany.
Its exotic and luxurious look is characteristic of Dragonfly.
The neck is a laminated type of Hard maple and Bubinga.
This technique of laminating multiple woods together to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.
The fingerboard is made of Pau Ferro.
The scale length is 34.5 inches.
The pickups are dual-coil humbucking type.
