Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
This model is a 1968 Jazz Bass.
The neck end is stamped with "7DEC68A".
The back of the neck pickup is inscribed with "10-5-68", and the back of the bridge pickup is inscribed with "10-15-68".
The year was determined based on these and other specifications.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is round-laminated rosewood—popular specifications.
It has been refretted and the nut has been replaced.
The fret edges appear to have a modern, sharpened finish.
In that respect, the playability could be considered high.
In terms of appearance, it hasn't changed much from the original, suggesting that a highly skilled repairman did the work.
The pickups are the original gray bobbins, and the capacitors are Circle D.
All the potentiometers have been replaced.
Typical of a late 1960s Jazz Bass, it boasts a sharp, clear, and airy sound.
The combination of this sound and the rich, harmonically charged midrange creates a truly vintage feel.
It can certainly be used in modern music.

The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some minor scratches, dents, and paint chips. The metal parts are tarnished.

It has been refretted and had a new nut. All the potentiometers have been replaced. The strap pins have been replaced.
