Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastoriah, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
Fender Japan started in the 1980s as a Japanese-made Fender, but unfortunately, it has now been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.
However, the brand's quality is still supported by many artists and continues to be sought after.
This model is a JB62.
Manufactured in 1991.
The body is made of basswood, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Antiquity IIs.
This can be considered a pure upgrade.
This guitar features a thick, open neck pickup, a sharp, tight bridge pickup, and a deep, clear mixed position.
In any position, you can enjoy the classic Fender tone that has graced the music scene for over half a century.
With its traditional look and sound, this is a classic and standard instrument.
The frets have approximately 50% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some minor scratches, dents, and paint chips. An additional screw hole for a finger rest has been added to the body top. There are signs of a different shaped tuning peg being installed on the back of the headstock (where the 4th string tuner is).
The electronics are in good condition.
The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Antiquity IIs. The neck pickup volume pot has been replaced with a CTS pot. The jack has been replaced with a Switchcraft jack. The bridge has been replaced. The tone knob has been replaced. The screws securing the control panel have also been replaced.
