Ibanez is a leading Japanese guitar brand, globally renowned alongside Fender and Gibson.
The SR series is a long-running series, highly regarded worldwide for its well-balanced combination of a slim body and neck with powerful electronics.
This is a fretless model.
The body is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of Panga Panga.
The neck is a laminated type of maple and bubinga.
This technique of laminating multiple types of wood to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.
The pickups are Bartolini MK1.
The preamp is an Ibanez EQB-IIIS 3-band EQ.
The fingerboard extends to the neck pickup, giving it a look reminiscent of a double bass.
When picking near the bridge pickup, a sharp, crisp sound is produced, while picking on the fingerboard yields a deep, resonant tone.
