This model is the American Standard, a modern version with specifications adapted for ease of use in today's music scene.
It's now part of the American Professional series.
The body is alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
A classic combination with a rich midrange.
The pickups are original.
While possessing the rich low-mids characteristic of the Precision Bass, it delivers a more balanced and refined sound than vintage-style models.
It provides the necessary presence for both fingerstyle and slap playing, producing an attack-oriented and loud sound—a hallmark of modern basses.
