Sire became famous for releasing basses supervised by Marcus Miller.
The quality of their guitars and basses is extremely high, and they are highly regarded not only by Marcus Miller fans but also by a wider audience.
This model is the U5, based on the JB bass, incorporating a 30-inch scale and a PJ pickup layout.
This is a fretless model.
The body is made of North American Alder, and the neck and fingerboard are made of Hard Maple.
This combination offers an appealingly light midrange.
The pickups are Marcus Super PJ Revolution Set.
While possessing a rich low end, it also excels at producing a bright sound with clear definition.
This perfectly matches the fretless style.
It features a powerful sound that is slightly tight yet rich in harmonics, with a moderate amount of compression.
