Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Momose, based in Matsumoto, Nagano, produces high-quality basses and guitars.
They are renowned for their beautiful looks and superior sound.
Popular among professionals, they are known to be used by top musicians such as Kazuki Isogai and Kyohei Ariga. (Titles omitted)
This is a special model created for the 2025 Deviser trade show.
The body top is made of Sakura wood from Miyazaki Prefecture, and the body back is made of Mango 2P.
The combination of carefully selected woods results in a very luxurious look.
The finish is Top Lacquer.
The color of the paint changes significantly as the top clear layer discolors.
This balance, using a strong paint such as urethane for the base coat and a lacquer finish for the top that affects the look, is very rational.
The Deep Blue-Vertical Gradation color, reminiscent of the sea, and the gold hardware further enhance its special feel. The neck is made of maple, and the fretboard is made of ebony.
The fretboard features phoenix feather and cherry blossom inlays.
The pickups are original VJ-5s.
The tuning machines and bridge are GOTOH, ensuring top-notch performance.
The sound, with its rich, resonant low end and punchy, air-percussive highs, possesses universal appeal in ensembles.
This is a bass that we highly recommend not only to bassists who prioritize live performance, but also to those who want to acquire a truly special instrument.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are generally clean.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
