Woofy Basses is a brand that aims to support musicians' growth by providing high-quality basses, especially for those buying their first or second bass.
As an original brand of GIB, we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality basses in their price range.
The first Woofy Basses we released were entry-level models priced between 20,000 and 40,000 yen.
And now we are announcing the Classic Series, a replica of a genuine vintage bass.
The J Bass is modeled after traditional electric basses that have been widely used, from legendary soul music to modern rock bands.
The body is made of alder, the fingerboard is rosewood, and the neck is maple, using traditional woods.
The neck has a classic color and a gloss finish.
Like other Woofy Basses, it uses Belden wire and a Switchcraft jack.
The strings are D'addario EXL.
While it's impossible to use top-of-the-line parts for every component due to cost constraints, we ensure maximum quality by using high-grade parts in key areas.
Manufactured in China.
After quality checks in China, the instruments are imported to Japan for further quality checks and adjustments.
We aim for a vintage-like sound with rich bass and midrange tones, while maintaining a trebly texture.
