Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
The Custom Shop is a special manufacturing division created to accommodate custom orders.
To meet the demands of professional artists and guitar dealers, it produces superior guitars and basses with high technical skill.
Its high quality is highly regarded by artists worldwide.
This particular instrument was manufactured in 1990.
It's an early example from the Custom Shop's founding period.
The neck pocket bears the stamp of former Senior Master Builder Art Esparza.
Although a spec sheet is not included, it is presumed to be one of his creations.
The body is made of alder.
This bass features a pickguard-less body with no screw holes.
The fretboard is coated rosewood.
While it resembles a Jaco Pastorious model, there is no model name indicated.
Furthermore, this instrument has different specifications from the custom shop tribute models.
Based on the above, it is believed to have been made with his instrument in mind, before the official tribute models were produced.
The sound, with its warm lows and speedy, glossy highs, is unique to these specifications.

The body and paintwork have minor scratches, but are generally in good condition. There is some paint cracking near the neck joint plate.

If you sell your purchased item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee a buyback price. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.
● Warranty Against Defects
Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. Excluding some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.
The warranty period is 3 months for used items and 1 year for new items.
Please note that the following cases will incur a charge even within the warranty period:
* Malfunctions and damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
* Replacement of consumables.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by handling contrary to the precautions described in the instruction manual.
* Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
* If the warranty card does not have your name, model name, serial number, etc. filled in. Or, if the wording has been altered.
* If the warranty certificate is not presented or is lost.
