Anaconda Basses is a UK-based bass brand that has gained exceptional recognition in recent years, particularly in Europe and the US.
The Ultra J4 Essence, released around 2019, won an award from the prestigious bass media outlet (Bass Guitar Magazine).
The Ultra J5 Essence was released in 2020, after much anticipation.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood—a classic combination.
The scale length is 34.5 inches, the same as the F-Bass BN5.
A scale length 0.5 inches longer than usual is used to achieve a particularly tight low B string, reducing the loose nuance.
Yet, the G string doesn't become too tight, retaining a flexible nuance.
The neck pickup is a DELANO PMVC 5 FE/M2, and the bridge pickup is a DELANO JMVC 5 FE/M2-AS B.
Whether used individually or mixed, it features a musical and cohesive sound. The preamp is original.
The 18V high-voltage preamp features a 3-band EQ, allowing for flexible sound shaping.
Many bassists who use this bass are in the gospel and R&B genres, and after hearing the sound, it's easy to see why.
It truly has that BASS CHOPS nuance.

Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. Excluding some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.
The warranty period is 3 months for used items and 1 year for new items.
Please note that the following cases will incur a charge even within the warranty period:
* Malfunctions and damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
* Replacement of consumables.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
