This model is a modern bass born from a joint development with Richard Bona, and it has also established itself as his signature model.

Manufacturing takes place locally in Italy.

The body is crafted from Northern Italian Spruce and Olive wood, which is also used in the production of high-end violins.

The body top is finished in Olive.

While many previous KILIMANJARO models emphasized a natural impression, this model stands out with an appearance that adds a more modern yet exotic sensibility.

The bridge is equipped with a HIPSHOT KICKASS.

The overall design quality is also excellent, and the string resonance comes alive naturally and richly.

The tuning machines are GOTOH RES-O-LITE.

Recently, the adoption rate of GOTOH hardware has been increasing, particularly among European brands, which can be seen as a symbol of reliability.

The RES-O-LITE is a lightweight type, and its sound texture feels similar to that of the HIPSHOT Ultralite.

It will be a sufficiently satisfying choice even for those who felt somewhat hesitant about Japanese metal hardware.

The pickups are Bartolini MK5CBC, and the preamp is an original Markbass.

The synergy between this combination is excellent. Centered on strong midrange and rich harmonics, the preamp allows for broad and flexible sound shaping while effectively bringing out Markbass's distinctive character.
