Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.

It's a brand under the Deviser umbrella, which owns a large guitar factory called the Asuka Factory. The high quality, stemming from the factory's in-house production, is highly regarded by many musicians.

This model is a WOODLINE model from the newly created Japan Tune-up series, designed with a focus on high quality.

The Japan Tune-up series employs a method where manufacturing is done overseas, with nut adjustments and fret leveling performed domestically.

This allows for high quality while keeping the price down, aiming to be comparable to top-quality Japanese-made guitars in every aspect.

I actually witnessed the work being done at the Deviser workshop in Nagano, and the meticulous finishing of each guitar is no different from the top-of-the-line HANDMADE series.

The WL4 itself is already a popular model, and its high quality is highly regarded.

This particular model is based on the WL4, featuring a beautiful Burl Poplar top and an elegant faded color finish.

The color is called Somei Yoshino Pink Burst Satin.

It's a very Japanese name.

As you can see, the look is incredible, especially considering the price. I was amazed.

It's something that's usually unheard of, but I think this kind of innovation is what makes Deviser so great.

The circuit is simply passive, but it features a Turbo Switch that changes the pickup configuration to series by pulling up the tone knob.

This makes it easy to create a powerful sound with a stronger midrange presence.

It features the super-smooth playability characteristic of Baacchus, and the sound is also smooth.

It delivers a powerful sound while maintaining a smooth response.
