The body is made of USA ash.

Many units weigh less than 4kg, making them lightweight.

This suggests that they have a certain degree of control over the weight and quality of the wood.

The neck is a laminated type of maple and walnut, and the fingerboard is rosewood.

The technique of laminating multiple types of wood to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.

Even the pickguard and back panel are made of wood, giving it a warm and inviting look.

The pickups are original single-coil designs.

They possess the solid, crisp tone and slightly fat character typical of a JB-type bass.

The controls are passive, consisting of a master volume, balancer, and master tone.

The use of a master volume control instead of two separate volume controls is also noteworthy.

The 24-fret design is another point to consider; the wide tonal range and modern JB sound it delivers are major attractions.
