Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including James Jamerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League. (Titles omitted)
The Precision Bass, the world's first fretted solid-body electric bass, instantly captivated bassists worldwide.
Its brilliance remains unchanged and it continues to be loved even more than half a century after its creation.
Fender Japan started in the 1980s as a Japanese-made Fender, but unfortunately, it has now been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.
This is the PB62-70US, a top-of-the-line model from that era.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
This is a classic combination that produces a rich midrange.
Regarding the electronics, including the pickups, it appears to be in its original condition.
The sound is a perfect match of the warm midrange characteristic of the alder body and the fat, sustained tone typical of the Precision Bass.
From the rich, enveloping bass tones of fingerstyle ensembles to the powerful attack of pick playing, this instrument delivers all the required elements at a high level.
Thanks to the meticulous and robust construction by Japanese craftsmen, playability is extremely smooth.
This is a guitar that allows you to fully enjoy the history and reliable quality of Japanese-made Fenders, and the timeless, traditional tone.
This product has undergone precise fret leveling using PLEK.
Because all frets are perfectly level, it theoretically produces a stable tone without buzzing.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is stiff, but approximately 90 degrees of movement has been confirmed.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paint surface show scattered dents and scratches. There is some tarnishing on the metal parts. There is a large paint chip on the body top, and traces of a sticker on the back. The plating on the tone knob is peeling.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
