Description & Condition
This is a custom order I previously commissioned from Sago through GIB.
The following is the original description:
-- Sago is a handmade guitar brand located in Hyogo Prefecture, specializing in fully custom-made guitars that fulfill all customer requests.
They also create regular models (though most are one-offs) utilizing the knowledge and skills they've cultivated over many years, and these are highly regarded.
Sago is a brand that enjoys strong trust from musicians.
Tabuchi-san of Unison Square Garden, RIO-san of Mary's Blood, and Kusakari-san of Sakanaction are among the Sago artists.
As you can see, this model was custom-ordered with a JB (James Bond) motif.
What's particularly noteworthy is the use of carbon fiber in the neck.
They've balanced it to prevent it from becoming too stiff, and in terms of sound, you can really feel a strong organic nuance.
Necks that are too strong can have a strong inorganic nuance in sound, which can be a negative, but I don't feel that with this model.
For the pickups, I specified EMGs this time. It's fantastic.
It possesses the speed characteristic of carbon fiber, while the clear sound unique to EMG pickups is a perfect match.
However, the sound is organic and juicy.
The responsiveness is pleasant, and you might feel it's easier to play than it actually is.

Fret life is approximately 80%.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork have scattered dents and scratches.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
