This product has been leveled using PLEK.
The string height at the 12th fret is 1.5mm for the G string and 2.0mm for the E string (2.3mm for the Low-B string).
Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese builder Hiro Miura.
Many famous musicians, including Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton, use Xotic guitars. (Titles omitted)
The XTB-1T is a new model released in 2025.
As you can see, it's based on the OPB.
The body is made of ash, and the fretboard is maple, a classic wood combination.
The color is black, and it's beautifully finished with lacquer paint.
Furthermore, the heavy aging process gives it a vintage look.
The tuning machines are Hipshot Ultralite, and the bridge is a Hipshot Style B.
Personally, I think the use of a simple bridge is a very good match.
The position markers are LUMINOVA phosphorescent type, a thoughtful detail that makes them easy to see even on a dark stage.
The frets are Jescar.
The pickups are original, paired with a highly regarded Xotic preamp.
While OPB basses are generally associated with passive designs, the extremely natural-sounding Xotic preamp adds greater convenience and tonal expandability without compromising the bass's charm.
This is a wonderful new model that is very easy to play, like a modern bass, and fully delivers the characteristic fullness of the OPB sound.
It will be delivered after being adjusted for ease of playability by GIB's craftsmen.
