The controls consist of volume, tone, balance, treble, middle, and bass (push-pull for active/passive switching).

While models like the V3, V7, and V8 used a middle frequency, this model has simpler controls.

In that respect, it could be considered a more classic active bass.

Furthermore, by fixing the middle frequency range, the manufacturer has designed a more intentional overall sound.

This is something only Sire, with its accumulated knowledge from numerous products, can achieve.

It features a tight yet harmonically rich and powerful sound with a moderate amount of compression.
