Momose, based in Matsumoto, Nagano, produces high quality basses and guitars.

MJ is an ambitious work based on the traditional JB style, incorporating unique design details.
This is a so-called "Show model" manufactured by Divisor in 2022.

EWC in the model name means Exotic Wood Custom.
This series is built using the finest woods selected by the most discerning craftsmen.

The beautiful body top is Quilted Bubinga, with amazing grain.
Ash is used for the body back.

The neck is made of beautiful quarter-sawn maple, and the fingerboard is flame maple.
These high quality is only possible with the Shaw model.

Pickups are HUMPBACK ENGINEERING RF-4J Set and preamp is replaced with Sadowsky's one.

Also, the neck set plate has been replaced with HUMPBACK ENGINEERING HS Neck Joint Plate 1.9.
This is a modern mod.

The part that was originally the preamp on/off switch has been filled in with screws.
It would be interesting to add some kind of switch here. Please contact us if you are interested.

Controls are the same as Sadowsky. (Details to follow.)

The sound, which includes plenty of swinging bass and atacky, air-breathing treble, has universal appeal in an ensemble.

This is a must-try for the bassist who is not only a hands-on bassist, but also for the bassist who wants to get his/her own special one.

Fret wear is almost nonexistent.
The truss rod is in good working order and the neck is in good condition.
The condition of the body and paint surface is as follows: there is a 30mm scratch on the back of the body. Other than that, it is very clean and beautiful.
The electrical system is in good condition.
