Sugi is a brand by Mr. Sugimoto, a legend in Japanese guitar making for many years.
Sugimoto produces high quality guitars and basses in Nagano, Japan, and is highly regarded by many musicians.

The NB is known as the flagship model, and has been used by Ho-jin Egawa, Mike Porcaro of TOTO, and others.

This is a very rare model with only one humbucking PU.
The scale is 33 inches.

The body top is Poplar with heavy grain, and the back is Alder.
The neck is laminated aqua-timber maple core, and the fingerboard is probably Cocobolo.

The bridge and tuners are GOTOH, which is not normal.
