Musicman has been used by guitarists all over the world including John Petrucci, Steve Lukather, Steve Morse, and many others.

This model is the AXIS EX, one of their flagship models.

This model was originally introduced as a signature model of the late Edward Van Halen, but when his contract ended, the name was changed to AXIS and it was produced.

This model is called the EX series, and is a hybrid version that was carefully produced in Japan and uses the same hardware as the original USA-made model.

The workshop in Japan involved in the production of this model is High End Guitars, which is known for its work on Valley Arts models made in Japan.

The High End Guitars model had the same selector position as the EVH signature model, so in terms of looks, it was closer to the original than the USA model, which was a great feature for the fans.

The body back is made of alder and the top is made of luxurious one-piece maple.
