Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
It is a brand under Deviser, which operates the large-scale Asuka guitar factory. The high level of quality made possible by handling production in-house has earned Bacchus high praise from many musicians.
The WOODLINE series is handcrafted at the Asuka factory in Nagano, Japan, and is positioned as one of the highest-end series in the Bacchus lineup.
The body is made of Ash, with an Ebony fingerboard.
The pickups are original Bacchus pickups.
The finish is an oil finish, one of the defining characteristics of the brand.
The bass offers the powerful low end and crisp high end characteristic of a JB, while its solid and tight tonal character makes it suitable for a wide range of musical genres.
