【outlet】Sire / V8-5 WB 4.52kg #2N25380262【GIB Hyogo】

Sire became famous as a brand that released basses supervised by Marcus Miller.

The quality of the guitars and basses they produce is very high, and they are highly supported by people other than Marcus fans.

This model is an updated version of some V7s with a jazz bass motif.

In the style of Marcus, it is equipped with an active circuit and is finished with modern classic specs.

The neck is made of satin-painted roasted maple.

This is also known as thermo wood.

Thermowood, which was put to practical use in the field of musical instruments by Sago of Japan, was originally used in Finland as a building material for saunas.

It is also useful for musical instruments, as evidenced by the fact that leading manufacturers such as Sadowsky and Suhr use thermowood.

It is said that a certain amount of thermowood is disposed of due to its processing.

Probably, some of the instruments that will be warped in the future will be played here.

The sound has a strong impression of a mellow nuance.

The fingerboard is made of roasted maple like the neck, but this side is painted in gloss.

The edges are nicely rounded to improve playability.

Most players will have positive impressions of this specification.

The body is made of ash with a svelte grain.

The pickup positions are similar to those of Fender's 70's JB.

The unique tight and powerful sound is obtained.

Unlike the V7 series, the bridge is equipped with the new “New Marcus Heavymass II Bridge”.

The style of actively adopting new specifications is very impressive.

Controls include volume, tone, balancer, bass, middle, middle frequency, treble, and active/passive switch SW.

At first glance, it looks complicated, but from a bassist's point of view, it makes sense.

The sound is tight but rich in overtones, and powerful with just the right amount of comp.

This model is a must-try for those who are aiming for a Marcus-like sound, but also for those who are simply looking for a high quality jazz bass.

This model is sold at a special price due to long-term inventory.

This model comes with a warranty as good as new except for the appearance.
