【new】meta guitars / Veil-B5 Medium Scale Devon Green #020-2023-VB5M 3.495kg【GIB Yokohama】

Meta Guitars is a French based high brand of modern guitar manufacturing.

Builder Fred was interested in guitars and basses from an early age, and at the age of 15 he had already started to devote his life to making stringed instruments.

The word "meta" means something like "after," "beyond," or "change.
With this concept in mind, he has worked to create guitars and basses that are beautiful, passionate, unique, modern, and revolutionary.

Most of Meta Guitars' creations are designed headless.
This allows for lighter weight, compactness, and better ergonomics and balance.
And headless hardware does not use gears for tuning.
This means greater tuning stability.

He insists on excellent balance in both sound and playability.
To achieve this, the bodies of almost all models have a single cutaway and ergonomic curves.
The beautiful body curve is not only pleasing to the eye, but also provides the player with ideal balance whether standing or sitting.

The single cutaway makes the neck on the bass side stronger and less elastic, resulting in a tighter tone and longer sustain.
The result is a clearer, straighter tone, especially on the bass strings.

He also incorporates a fund fret to improve the balance of the sound.
This balances the tone and at the same time gives the user a wider choice of gauges.

While some may be concerned about the difficulty of playing, the fact is that this design is very natural to the way the human arm and wrist work.
You won't need much time before you find it easy to play.

This model is the flagship Veil model.
This model is aimed at the fuller range of the Veil, especially in the low to middle range.

The scale is 35-33 inches.
If you are looking for a conventional bass-like sound, this is the model for you.

The body is made of quarter-sawn chestnut, the neck of maple, and the fingerboard of ebony.
Weighing less than 4 kg, the tone does not feel lacking, loose, or light.

The pickups are Lace's Alua Bassbar.
It is a very lightweight pickup, and its sound is characterized by transparency and speed.
It has a natural nuance with no strong habits, which gives a good impression.
The low noise level is also attractive.

Wiring is done from under the knob, so there is no back panel.

Overall, this is a sophisticated and beautiful product.
It is precisely because of the underlying European culture that such products appear today.

As is often the case with handmade workshop pieces, there was a slight scratch on the piece when it arrived, which was repaired by GIB.
We hope you understand that this weakness is due to the fact that the paint is extremely thin.

We hope you will give it a try.
