【new】HEX Guitars / N500P Black

HEX Guitars is a brand based in South Korea that specializes in products in the entry-level to mid-range price range.

They have their own factory in Indonesia and manufacture their own products. This is what sets them apart from brands that typically manufacture through OEM.

Because they don't rely on other factories and the boss himself is so passionate about the work, they are able to manufacture guitars of a quality that is unimaginable given the price.

This is a new series of headless-style guitars.

The N500P model features a flexible custom tremolo bridge.

The sleek body shape is made from mahogany.

Two rubber feet are attached to the body end, allowing the guitar to stand upright without a guitar stand.

The neck is made from roasted maple.

Roasted wood, also known as Thermo wood, is a new material popularized by Sago New Material Guitars in Japan.

Originally developed in Finland as wood for saunas,

it is characterized by its high stability in high-temperature and high-humidity environments due to the evaporation of moisture and oils through high-temperature processing.

In terms of sound, it has a more refined and rich tone.

The fingerboard is made of Roasted Maple, with a compound radius of 12-16 inches.

A compound radius has a rounded shape in the lower positions and a flat shape in the higher positions.

Generally, a rounded fingerboard radius improves playability but can cause sound blockage in the higher positions.

The compound radius addresses this issue.

This technology is adopted by high-end brands such as Suhr Guitars and Tom Anderson.

The frets are made of stainless steel.

Stainless steel is characterized by its lack of tarnish and high hardness.

Stainless steel frets maintain their shine and are extremely resistant to wear, making them popular in high-end guitar brands in recent years.

The neck shape is slim and features a neutral C-shape.

The pickups are original humbucker-type.

They use original pickups in many models.

This is not for cost-cutting purposes but because they have confidence in the quality of their own designs.

Staff members who understand music and play it regularly have thoroughly researched and designed various elements such as magnets, wires, and bobbins.

The controls include a pickup selector, volume, and tone (with a push-pull switch for coil tap on/off).

The balance when held is excellent, and even those accustomed to playing Fender or Gibson guitars will likely find the HEX N easy to play.

It has a clean, headless-style sound yet retains musical harmonics and rich bass tones.

The neck area’s quality is exceptionally high, resulting in excellent playability. It would be difficult to claim it is inferior to instruments in the 200,000 yen range.

Overall, this is an excellent product with high-quality aesthetics, playability, and sound.

It is not only suitable for those who want to try a headless guitar for the first time but also a great choice for a first guitar.

HEX Guitars products sold by GIB are inspected, adjusted, and modified after being imported to Japan before being sold.

We guarantee unparalleled quality, so please give it a try.
