Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Provision Guitar is a handmade brand based in Yamaguchi Prefecture, producing high-quality guitars.
It's known for being used by professional musicians such as Naoto Tada, Takayoshi Negishi, Ken Taneda, and Kazuya Kojima (back number).
Personally, I find the high quality of their Fender-style basses particularly appealing.
This is a popular 5-string JB type.
The body is made of alder, and the fretboard is rosewood—a classic wood combination.
The neck finish appears to be lacquer.
The bridge is spiral, and the tuning machines are made by GOTOH—perfect.
The pickups are original.
The sound is captivating, combining an overwhelmingly rich low end with a sharp attack.
The strong, bouncy response when you apply a large string vibration is very realistic, and I think it will feel familiar to those who love vintage Fenders.
Despite being a 5-string, it sounds remarkably like a 4-string.
Many people are looking for a 5-string JB bass in a classic style, and for those people, I would definitely recommend this one.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are generally clean, although there is some tarnishing on the tuning pegs.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
