Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Epiphone is a guitar brand with a long history.
Currently positioned as a more affordable alternative to Gibson, it still enjoys a large following due to its high quality.
This is a semi-acoustic style model.
Although manufactured by Epiphone, it bears the model name EB-2.
The body is maple, the neck is mahogany, and the fretboard is rosewood.
The pickups are original.
The thick, rich, and full sound is incredibly appealing.
Its juicy and deep tone is compelling, possessing a special aura reminiscent of vintage Fender or Gibson guitars.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows some high-frequency bowing. Adjusting it 0.5mm higher than the Gibson standard (2.5mm-3.0mm at the 12th fret) allows for playability without issues.
The body and paintwork show some minor scratches. There is a small chip of approximately 5.0mm on the side of the fretboard at the 2nd fret on the 4th string side. Currently, this does not affect playability.
The electronics are in good condition. There is a slight volume difference in the baritone switch, but this is likely within specifications.
No clear modifications were observed.
