Musicman emerged as Leo Fender's second brand and was loved by bassists worldwide.
Even after being acquired by Ernie Ball, this hasn't changed, and it remains widely accepted by modern bassists.
Many artists, including Louis Johnson and Flea, are known to use Musicman basses.
The Stingray is a classic model that enjoys overwhelming popularity within the brand.
Alongside Fender's Jazz Bass and Precision Bass, it's safe to say it's one of the most popular basses in the world.
This particular model is a 1994 4-string model.
It features transitional specifications such as an oil-finished neck, a metal panel battery box, and a 6-bolt neck joint.
The body is likely ash, the neck maple, and the fretboard rosewood.
The pickups and preamp are original.
