ESP is one of Japan's leading guitar brands, alongside Fender and Gibson, and is world-renowned.
It is supported by many professional artists, and IKUO, Hidekazu Hinata, and Kazuhiko Nakamura are known to be fans of ESP basses.
E-II is an ESP-affiliated brand, with globally-oriented designs and manufacturing done in Japan.
This is the STREAM SL-5, which incorporates modern elements while being based on the Thunderbird.
The body is made of White Ash, the neck is 3P Maple, and the fingerboard is Ebony.
It is hard and has a solid weight.
It uses a 35-inch scale length.
The cutaway design allows for easy access to the higher positions.
The pickups are EMG 40P5 and EMG 40J, and the preamp is an EMG BTC, a modern specification.
