Yamaha is a renowned brand that has supported the Japanese guitar industry since its early days.
While the company boasts several models considered classics, this particular model is a masterpiece from the highly regarded BB series.
This new BB features an unusual 3-ply body construction, using alder for the top and back, and maple for the core.
The neck is a 5-piece construction of maple and mahogany.
This technique of laminating multiple woods together to create the neck reduces left-right and individual variations, resulting in greater stability.
The fingerboard is rosewood.
The pickups are a set of Yamaha VSP7n and VSC7b.
The preamp is original.
A 3-band EQ allows for flexible sound shaping.
Of course, it supports both active and passive switching.
The back panel features an LED that alerts you when the battery is low, preventing potential battery depletion.
It is characterized by a unique sound that combines robustness and sharpness.
This bass has the potential to excel in a wide range of genres, including rock and pop.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.

The body and paintwork show noticeable scratches on the pickguard. There are also some minor scratches on the back of the body.
