Atelier Z is a professional-grade bass brand widely loved by professional bassists both in Japan and internationally.
It's known that many prominent musicians, including Tomohito Aoki, KenKen, BOH, and JINO (titles omitted), use Atelier Z basses.
This model is the E#286 from the Evolution series.
The body is made of 2-piece ash, with a flame maple top and a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard—a configuration befitting a limited edition model.
Several models with this configuration appear to have been produced.
The pickup is the original ATELIER Z JBZ-5.
The preamp is a Bartolini XTCT+MCT375.
The bridge is an original Badass-type, and the tuning machines are GOTOH.
It boasts the punchy low end and piercing high end characteristic of the brand's products.
This is a superb instrument that allows you to experience the coveted slap sound.
The frets have approximately 55% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in excellent condition overall, although there is some tarnishing on the tuning machines.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
