This is a prototype manufactured in Japan.

The body top is made of Koa wood, and the body back is made of Mahogany.

While typical USA-made models feature a composite neck primarily composed of graphite and a phenowood fingerboard, this Japanese-made instrument likely uses a maple neck and ebony fingerboard.

The neck and headstock are finished in gloss black.

The pickups are Bartolini original soapbar type, and the preamp is a Bartolini NTCT.

The pure, clear sound and straightforward response, characteristic of ZON, are very distinctive.

Due to its wood-based neck construction, it has a more open and brilliant tone compared to USA-made models.
