Description & Condition
Wood Custom Guitars, a new Japanese brand bearing a dignified name.
Their dedication to wood is clearly reflected in their quality, and their reputation has rapidly grown in recent years.
Artists known to use this brand include Sohei Mishima (Cinema Staff), Itsuki Shinohara (ex-Enma., Karanoa…), Aribobo (Yabai T-shirts-ya), and Hiromi Hirohiro (tricot).
This is the Throb-5, which adopts a modern JB style.
The body top is Hawaiian Koa, and the body back is Honduras Mahogany.
The neck is a laminate of Maple and Walnut, and the fingerboard is Ebony.
As you can see, the looks are top-notch.
The beautiful body top and dark fingerboard give it a luxurious feel.
It features Nordstrand DC-5 pickups and an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp.
While it boasts a very modern design, the sound retains the powerful bass and crisp treble characteristic of a JB bass.
Yet, the texture is smooth, well-balanced, and refined.
This is a masterpiece that blends traditional and high-end textures in a modern way.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are generally clean, although there are noticeable scratches on the back of the body.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for lifetime free "String Vibration Setup" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)
・Please present your warranty card with your name filled in.

・Please bear the cost of shipping and other miscellaneous expenses.
●Re-Buyback Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchased item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee the buyback price. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.
●Defect Warranty
Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. With the exception of some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.
The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
Please note that the following cases will incur a charge even within the warranty period:
* Malfunctions and damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
* Replacement of consumables.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by handling contrary to the precautions described in the instruction manual.
* Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by a party other than our company.
* If the warranty certificate does not have your name, model name, serial number, etc. filled in, or if the wording has been altered.
* If the warranty certificate is not presented or is lost.
