Description & Condition

This is a Vestax brand jazz bass model that existed around the 90s.
Vestax was founded by a man named Hidetoshi Shiino, who worked in marketing and design for brands and companies like Yamaha, Fujigen, and Greco.
Vestax is also famous in DJ equipment.

The format is JB, but the pitch between strings at the bridge section is variable, based on 17mm.
It is quite an aggressive design.

It is equipped with a 2-band EQ that can be bypassed by a switch, allowing for a variety of sound creation.
Sound-wise, it is quite massive, with a narrow range and thick sound. It is unique.

This item has had the frets rubbed by our repair department.
The frets are approximately 60% remaining and the high position is quite low.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it works about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition, with a string height of 2.5mm~2.0mm, and can be played without any problems.
The condition of the body and painted surface has many scratches.

GIB craftsmen have adjusted it to make it easier to play.
