Teisco is a Japanese brand that manufactured and sold a number of musical instruments such as synthesizers and amplifiers as well as electric guitars and basses for about 37 years from 1948 to 1985.

Its unique looks and multifunctional switches that take advantage of its technology and other features have made it still popular among Bizarro guitars.

This is the TG-50, a reissue of the popular TG-64 model.

It has a unique body shape with a hole in the lower part of the body called a monkey grip, and is equipped with a Bigsby-type tremolo unit.
Each PU can be switched on and off with the slide switch located on the pickguard, and it is possible to mix the front and rear pickups, or to have all pickups respond to each other, providing a rich variety of sounds.

The unique, crisp sound of this unit is distinctive.
This sound is difficult to reproduce on other electric guitars.
