This is a rare elegat model that was produced from the 1990s to the early 2000s.
The body top is made of veneer cedar, a standard wood in classical guitars.
Compared to plywood, cedar has a more open sound, giving the impression that the sound is more forward.
Rosewood is used for the body sides and back.
It is a traditional wood that has been an essential part of the guitar's history, characterized by its powerful bass and shimmering treble.
Takamine's unique preamplifier called CT-4B II, which is installed in this instrument, has excellent operability and visibility as well as high sound quality.
