Sugi is a brand by Sugimoto, a legend in Japanese guitar making for many years.
The company manufactures high-quality guitars and basses in Nagano Prefecture and is highly regarded by many musicians.
The NB is known as the flagship model and is used by Egawa Hojin-san, Mike Porcaro of TOTO and others.
This is the NB 5-string model, NB5.
The body is made of gorgeous Poplar Burl on the top and Hondulus Mahogany on the back.

The neck is a 5P laminate with an Aqua Timber Maple core and the fingerboard is Ebony.
