Skervesen is a boutique brand from Poland. Their work, which combines high playability, excellent sound quality, and beautiful looks, is highly regarded, especially in Europe.

This "Velo" is one of the models where their aesthetics are most condensed.

The Body features Ash. Very lightweight pieces are selected and used. As you can see, the coloring is applied only to the Top surface, and this bi-color creates a modern atmosphere.

The Neck is 3P Maple. The method of making a Neck by laminating multiple pieces of wood is intended to reduce left-right differences or individual differences and obtain higher stability.

Also, if you look closely at the grain of the Neck, you can see that Quarter Sawn timber has been specifically selected and used. This is known for its high strength in the direction of the grain.

Rosewood is adopted for the Fingerboard.

The Scale is 34inch, and the Fingerboard R is a 12-16 inch Compound Radius specification.

Compound Radius is a design adopted by high-end guitar brands such as Suhr, where the roundness is larger at the low Fret side and becomes flatter at the high Fret side. This shape allows for a low String Action setting while preventing fret buzz. It is a rational design that also aligns with the brand's concept.

The Frets are Jescar Stainless. For convenience, the Fret remaining is listed as 95%, but you can consider it as 100%. Since they are Stainless, their appearance, which does not lose its brilliance, is also attractive.

The Tuner is GOTOH RES-O-LITE. This is Japan's finest Machine Head, which has recently been adopted by brands such as De Gier and Capurso Guitars. It can be said that it has gained reliability equal to or greater than the Hipshot Ultralite Tuner.

The Bridge is also GOTOH.

The Pickups were originally JB type, but this one has been modified and EMG Soapbar type Pickups are installed. Accordingly, the routing (Zauri) has been expanded.

It is also possible to return to JB type PU.

When you play it, you can feel high playability from low positions to high positions and a refined sound. It provides a stress-free fit even for those who usually play classic basses like Fender.

The sound feels clean without any muddiness. However, it is not cold, and you should be able to feel a lively character within an ensemble.

The wear condition of the Frets is approximately 99% remaining. The Trussrod status is good. Neck status: It is good. Body status: Since the paint film is very thin, some dents are scattered, but there are no parts where the wood is noticeably gouged. Electrical system status: It is good. Repair and replacement details: PU has been replaced with EMG Soapbar type, and the routing has been expanded accordingly.
