Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Sire suddenly became famous as a brand that released basses supervised by Marcus Miller.
The quality of the guitars and basses they manufacture is extremely high, and they are highly supported by people other than Marcus fans.
This is a V9 5 string.
If the models they usually produce have a classic style, this one has a more modern style.
Maple is used for the top of the body and Ash is used for the back.
There is no control plate, and controls are mounted directly on the top of the body.
I think it has a very modern look when combined with Quilted Maple.
The fingerboard uses Ebony.
The binding and block inlays give it a luxurious feel.
The finish of the frets is outstanding, and while it is in this price range, it is of a high quality that is comparable to those in higher price ranges.
There are plenty of controls including volume, tone, balancer, bass, middle, middle frequency, treble, and active-passive switch.
It may seem complicated at first glance, but from a bass player's perspective, it makes sense.
It has a tight sound, contains many overtones, and has a moderate compression feel that makes it easy to play.
Not only for those aiming for a Marcus-like sound, but also for those simply looking for a high-quality jazz bass, this is a model you should try.
Approximately 80% of the frets remain.
The truss rod works well.
The neck is in good condition.
The condition of the body and paint surface is that there are some dents and scratches here and there.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modification points were found.
