Description & Condition
Schecter is a brand based in the United States that manufactures and sells high quality guitars.
Schecter has a long history and a good reputation in the U.S., as they were once contracted to manufacture OEM guitars mainly for New York brands such as Sadowsky.
This is a popular JB model made in Japan.
The body is ash and the fingerboard is maple in a classic configuration.
The PU is an original Seymour Duncan and has probably not been replaced, and is probably still original.
Good quality hardware carefully assembled.
The frets are approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition. There are a few 5mm dents on the top and sides of the head.
The condition of the body and paint surface is hard to notice due to the natural oil finish, but there are numerous dents throughout. There is a 15mm ding on the body side and extensive small dings on the body end where the wood is pitted. There is a large scratch on the top of the body that appears to have been caused by a pick. There is a gouge in the wood between the pickguard and bridge pickup.
The pickguard may have been replaced, as there are almost no pick scratches on the pickguard.
The electrical system is in good condition.
