Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand whose clientele includes top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee.
Until now, the Metroline was manufactured in Japan, but with Warwick taking over distribution of Sadowsky products, production has moved to the Warwick factory in Germany.
Since the Japanese-made Metroline models were originally highly acclaimed, there were concerns about a decline in quality, but seeing the actual guitars shows no need for excessive worry.
The neck feels a little thinner than those made in Japan, and there are also differences in the roundness of the body joint.
The old Metroline also featured a solid body.
However, like the NYC, the new Metroline features a chambered body.
This makes it significantly lighter, weighing in at around 3kg, a clear advantage.
This model is the signature model of virtuoso Will Lee.
The body is made of swamp ash and the fingerboard is maple, a classic configuration.
The custom-designed preamp for this model features a unique mid-boost switch.
It can boost 500Hz or 800Hz.
You can choose either wide-range or narrow-range, with a selectable Q.
Sadowsky's excellent electronics, typical of this guitar, produce a powerful sound even with a low string height.
It also plays well, making it a product with great overall potential.
The pickups are said to be different from the old Metro Line and NYC pickups, but they produce a refined, beautifully designed sound.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck's string height cannot be lowered all the way due to the bridge, so it needs to be adjusted 3.0mm to 3.5mm at the 12th fret, but it still plays without any issues.
The body and finish show some minor scratches, but are generally in good condition.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.

Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
